Round Rock Library

The Round Rock Public Library’s collection contains material for Adults and Children including books of various genres, books on tape, video cassettes and DVDs. The music collection includes Compact Disks of a wide variety of musical genres.
The construction of our current library was completed in November 1999, and a renovation was completed in November 2008. The library is a two-story building with 43,000 square feet. It includes meeting rooms, private study rooms, and a Teen room.

print as well as being viewed on the projection screen. A variety of music including flute, violin, guitar, piano and organ accompanies Worship each Sunday.

Children of all ages are welcome in Worship. A children’s bulletin is provided. A staffed Nursery is available for children 3 years old and younger during the Service. Round Rock Christian Church

The call for a Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) congregation in the greater Round Rock area began when a few “Disciples” met to lay plans for organization of at the Bank of The Hills in February, 1983. The first service was held on October 2, 1983, at the Noah’s Ark Day School, with some 50 people in attendance. In the Disciples tradition a lay leadership steering committee met weekly to plan each service and invite visiting ministers to preach. Within six months attendance outgrew the day school, moving the congregation to Deepwood Elementary, and later to Chisholm Trail Middle School in Round Rock.
